Access to Oil and Gas Infrastructure

The infrastructure code of practice is a voluntary arrangement developed by Oil & Gas UK in consultation with the Department for Business, Enterprise and  Regulatory Reform (BERR). Under the arrangement, offshore oil and gas companies have agreed to publish technical and commercial data about the pipelines and facilities that they operate on the UK Continental Shelf (UKCS) in order to facilitate the utilisation of such infrastructure for the development of remaining UKCS reserves. The links below will take you to pages showing the location of infrastructure, technical details and an outline of the commercial terms for the assets on the UKCS where ExxonMobil is an owner.

Beryl Alpha
The Beryl field and associated infrastructure (Alpha and Bravo platforms and facilities), and the nearby associated Ness, Nevis, Katrine, Buckland and Skene fields, are located 315km north east of Aberdeen.
SAGE Pipeline
Currently gas from Beryl, Brae and Scott and their satellite & associated fields are exported via the Scottish Area Gas Evacuation (SAGE) 350km, 30" nb pipeline, to the SAGE Terminal at St Fergus.
SEGAL System
The Shell-Esso Gas and Liquids (SEGAL) system incorporates the Far North Liquids and Associated Gas System (FLAGS) pipeline connected to Brent Alpha, the Fulmar Gas Line (FGL), the receiving terminal at St Fergus and the Mossmorran NGL fractionation plant and Braefoot Bay loading facilities in Fife. It currently processes wet gas from UK and Norwegian fields and is subject to an extensive rejuvenation programme due for completion in 2012.
Beryl Bravo
The Beryl field and associated infrastructure (Alpha and Bravo platforms and facilities), and the nearby associated Ness, Nevis, Katrine, Buckland and Skene fields, are located 315km north east of Aberdeen.
SAGE Terminal
The Scottish Area Gas Evacuation (SAGE) Terminal at St Fergus is located 65km north of Aberdeen. It currently receives and processes gas from the SAGE and Britannia pipelines. A third pipeline from the Atlantic and Cromarty fields is currently under construction and is due to be operational in late 2005.
