The Beryl Bravo platform is a fixed steel jacket installation located in Block 9/13a in the UK sector of the North Sea approximately 315km north east of Aberdeen. It is located some 8km north of the Beryl Alpha platform (view map>>). Beryl Bravo stands in a water depth of 119 metres.
The eight-legged platform (view diagram>>) is positioned over a drilling template on the seabed which was installed prior to the platform installation to enable six wells to be pre-drilled. The template provides twenty well slots and both jacket and template are secured to the seabed by piling. Operations from the platform commenced in 1984.
There currently are five subsea wells connected to the platform by risers for water injection and production, two in operation and three suspended. Risers also exist for transfer of hydrocarbons to the Beryl Alpha platform.
The equity ownership of the Beryl infrastructure is: - Mobil North Sea LLC (Operator) - 50.00%
- Amerada Hess Limited - 22.22%
- Enterprise Oil plc - 22.78%
- OMV (UK) Limited - 5.00%
