Are you taking a road-trip with the family this summer?  In that case, read on….

Ahead of the summer holiday getaways, Esso commissioned a survey of 2,000 participants to learn more about the UK’s road trip habits. The survey revealed that ‘I Spy’ is the UK’s favourite car game (as chosen by a fifth of survey participants).   A classic, it’s brilliant for encouraging younger children to speak and engage, it’s still the preferred choice for older generations too!

‘20 Questions’ was another firm favourite and ‘Yellow Car’ -  a great game to keep younger children occupied on long journeys – proved popular.  ‘Pub Sign Cricket’, a car game with a bit of a twist also made the list, along with ‘Guess the song’, ‘Spot the animal’ and golden oldie the ‘Number plate game’.

If you need a reminder of the ‘rules’ of these games, check out the Esso Road Trip Games website at https://www.esso.co.uk/en-gb/roadtripgames, where you will also discover the favourite car games of F1 racing drivers Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez!
