Paul Greenwood speaks at Industry and Parliament Trust Roundtable

Paul Greenwood, UK lead country manager, was recently a guest speaker on behalf of ExxonMobil UK at a roundtable dinner entitled ‘Road to Fuel Transition’ involving parliamentarians and industry representatives.

At the event in June, which was arranged by the Industry and Parliament Trust (IPT), Paul spoke about the role of low carbon fuels in the decarbonisation of transport, the potential of a hydrogen economy to the UK economy and ensuring the competitiveness of UK manufacturing through the transition.

The dinner was chaired by Peter Aldous, MP for Waveney whose parliamentary work focuses on energy policy.  Jamie Baker, Director of External Relations for the UK Petroleum Industry Association also made a speech.

The IPT is an independent, non-partisan charity that provides a platform of engagement between parliament and UK business. These roundtable discussions give an opportunity for parliamentarians and industry representatives to ask questions and informally share their own insights and experiences.
