With over 135 years of experience in the UK, ExxonMobil is well- known for our high-quality Esso fuels, Mobil 1 lubricants and innovative petrochemical products. As you will have read here in Newsline, today we're expanding into exciting new ventures, such as carbon capture and storage (CCS), hydrogen production, and biofuels - it's an exciting time to be part of our team!

We're currently seeking talented individuals to join us as engineering apprentices at the Fife Ethylene Plant (FEP) in Mossmorran. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone interested in pursuing a career in engineering to work within a fast-paced and varied engineering environment, maintaining the plant and equipment at one of Europe’s largest ethylene plants.

Engineering apprenticeships are four-year schemes and our apprentices will have the chance to gain valuable hands-on experience while working towards qualifications of their choosing such as a Modern Apprenticeship, SVQ Level III, and National and Higher National Certificates.  Plus, they'll have the support of experienced mentors and access to state-of-the-art facilities at Forth Valley College in Falkirk.

Here are the available roles:

  • Machinery Apprentice:  Dive into the world of mechanical repairs and maintenance, learning to maintain a wide range of equipment to keep our operations running smoothly.
  • Instrumentation Apprentice:  Explore the fascinating field of instrumentation, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining critical systems for operational efficiency.
  • Analyser Apprentice: Join the cutting-edge world of analytical technology, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our analysis equipment.

If you know someone who's looking for an exciting career opportunity, why not share this with them?  Applications are open until 21 April 2024, with interviews taking place in May 2024. It's a chance to join a dynamic team, contribute to meaningful projects, and help shape the future.
